Prevention of money laundering and the financing of terrorism 
Under Law 10/2010, of 28 April 2010, on prevention of money laundering and the financing of terrorism, which repeals Law 19/1993, of 28 December 1993, although in the absence of regulations for the implementation and development of the latter, the regulations of Law 19/1993, of 28 December 1993, and its implementing regulations shall remain in force where not inconsistent with the new law, the institutions required to establish the procedure and control for money laundering and terrorist financing include:
"Natural or legal persons engaging in property development, agency activities, or the commissioning or the brokerage of property sales." Failure to implement these measures may result in monetary penalties of a minimum of €3,000 up to a maximum of €1,500,000.
Pursuant to current regulations, the CX IMMOBILIÀRIA Group undertakes to follow all national and international legal initiatives to prevent money laundering, terrorist financing and other financial crimes.

CX IMMOBILIÀRIA has its head office in Spain and is supervised in the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing by the Executive Service of the Commission for the Prevention of Money Laundering and Monetary Offences (SEPBLAC). Spain is also a member of the European Union and the International Financial Action Group (FATF-GAFI). Money laundering and the financing of terrorism is, furthermore, a criminal offence in Spain.

For all of the above, CX IMMOBILIÀRIA has designed and implemented a programme to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing based on the adoption of the Spanish regulation and international standards.

CX Immobiliària has adopted the following overall principles to prevent use thereof for criminal purposes: - Put in place a structure for the prevention of money laundering and the financing of terrorism. - Implement internal policies and procedures to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing. - Implement standards for customer identification and knowledge (KYC - Know Your Customer). - Not perform transactions suspected of being related to money laundering or the financing of terrorist activities. - Inform the relevant authorities of any transactions showing signs of being related to money laundering or the financing of terrorist activities, and any determined by the legislation in force at any time. - Organise training sessions for its employees.
